Twin Sisters Falls is in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Located in Sagamore Hills Township in Ohio, the falls offer a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.
As with any outdoor activity, it is important to stay safe while visiting the waterfalls. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear for hiking. The creek is just north of Route 82 – east of the Mudcatcher Wall off the Towpath.

Twin Sisters Falls is located in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, in Brecksville, Ohio. It is a two-tiered waterfall that is approximately 70 feet tall. The waterfall is located on a small tributary of Chippewa Creek.
How to access Twin Sisters Falls
There is no official trail to Twin Sisters Falls, but it can be accessed by following a path through the woods. The path is steep and uneven, and it is important to wear sturdy shoes.
To access, follow these steps:
- Park at the Station Road Bridge Trailhead.
- Cross the footbridge over Chippewa Creek.
- Follow the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail south for about 0.3 miles.
- Just before the small bridge over the tributary, take the path on the right through the brush.
- Cross over the stream and follow the path along the steep bank.
- Upon reaching the small waterfall, turn right.
- Follow the stream to the falls.

It is important to be aware of the following safety information when visiting:
- The path to the falls is steep and uneven. Wear sturdy shoes and be careful not to slip.
- Be aware of your surroundings and watch for poison ivy and other hazards.
- Do not swim in the pool at the bottom of the falls.
- Leave no trace. Pack out all of your trash.

- The best time to visit Twin Sisters Falls is during the spring or fall when the water flow is high.
- If you are visiting during the summer, be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
- Be aware of the weather forecast and avoid visiting the falls after heavy rainfall or snowmelt.
- If you are unable to find the path to the falls, it is best to turn back. Do not attempt to bushwhack your way to the falls, as this could damage the environment.
