It’s always an exciting time to see the steam engine locomotive in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Crowds come out during the year to see the train in action. The annual tradition is made possible by Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
Every summer, the historic steam engine locomotive trains of Cuyahoga Valley National Park draw crowds from near and far. These trains evoke feelings of nostalgia and a sense of wonder from all who witness them.
The original steam engine trains first began running in 1880 along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. They were used to transport goods.
