Hinckley Lake Ohio Photo – Sunset
The Towpath in Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a perfect place to take a walk or get a run in. And it allows for the wonderful photographs.
I can arrange to sell you a high quality version with much better resolution for printing. You can see some of my other photos at my website, Michael Murray Photography. Or, email me at [email protected] or call 800-490-3350.
Are you looking for a fun, family-friendly destination to visit with friends or family? Or maybe a place to enjoy some time alone? Look no further than the Hinckley Lake Ohio and the spillway. Located close to Cleveland, this beach has something to offer everyone – from swimming and sunbathing, to fishing and bird watching.
Here, you can catch several varieties of sunfish including bluegills, crappies, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, channel catfish and carp. If you don’t have your own fishing gear, there are many local stores that offer rentals or sales of necessary equipment like bait and tackle boxes. Fishing licenses are also available from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Swimming & Sunbathing
The beach has a designated swimming area with lifeguards on duty during these times so that visitors can enjoy a safe swim in the lake’s crystal clear waters. The beach also offers sunbathing opportunities if you prefer more laid back relaxation by the water’s edge.
Hinckley Lake is home to many species of birds, making it an ideal spot for bird watchers of all ages. Some species you may find include bald eagles, grackles, hawks, woodpeckers, cardinals and blue herons – just to name a few! For those who prefer exploring on foot rather than admiring nature from afar – there are several hiking trails around the lake perfect for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels. From flat paths along the beaches edge to steep inclines into wooded areas – there’s something for everyone!
