The first thing you’ll see on your journey up Hemlock Loop Trail is the gorge. As you walk along the path, you’ll be surrounded by towering cliffs and sheer rock faces that are sure to take your breath away. Chippewa Creek winds its way through the area providing a great place for bird watching or just enjoying nature’s beauty. Be sure to take a few moments to sit and relax by the water; it’s one of the most tranquil spots in all of Ohio!
As you continue along Hemlock Loop Trail, you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush greenery. Here, tall trees provide shade from the sun while small streams trickle through nearby meadows. Take some time to explore this idyllic setting and see if you can spot any wild animals that call it home.
One stretch of Hemlock Loop Trail takes you through an expansive field of boulders and rocks. This unique landscape provides some truly stunning views as well as plenty of opportunities for exploration. Who knows what kind of interesting things can be found among these ancient stones? Of course, you’re not allowed to swim.
